Many of us aren’t “creative” types. There’s a good chance that your “creative” approach would completely side-swipe existing expertise, while still failing to reach the engagement of the socially and materialistically focused target group.

For a start — teach the basics using physical objects, and groupings. Strangely everything to do with Rational numbers can be calculated with groupings of physical objects (I use flat marbles from gardening displays — or bottles of drink)
