I don’t comprehend the haters of V/H/S. It’s not even that the movie is not bad or just okay, but it’s a downright masterpiece. The sequels are legit too, where almost all the segments are solid to stunning. I’ve shown that original film to over a dozen non-horror fans, and they’ve always liked it. The best thing about it is the sheer ingenuity of its premises, where each little vignette provides something refreshingly different from the usual genre tropes. The scariest things are the unknown, where new stories offer the least predictability about where they’ll go.
