This is some vicious and merciless criticism and almost completely true. While Hinkie and Coangelo are finally getting hit with the reality of their supposed wealth turning to dust before everyone’s eyes, I do not agree with the Okafor criticism.

This guy dominated ball through high school and college at Wilt Chamberlain levels, and then joined one of the worst teams of all time who demanded he stink while rewarding him with being the face of their failure. So how would you react to that kind of reception? The kid is young and definitely has some skills. He’s hardly worthless garbage, even in the modern NBA. A real culture and system can bring him along right. I’d love to see him succeed elsewhere to show exactly how dumbass Philly is, even though they literally lucked out with Embiid and Simmons.
