“Why would men all of a sudden tolerate bearing the expense, side effects, and emotional burden of contraceptive activities? Why not maintain a status quo that entitles them to sexual access without responsibility?”

Why would men tolerate the expense of birth control? Two words Child Support. See that’s the responsibility we bear with kids. We have zero say in what happens with a pregnancy if one occurs, but we will pay. So our only option is to prevent it, and we have only abstinence, condoms or a vasectomy as our choices. I encourage men to go the vasectomy route. Freeze a bit of sperm if you want kids, then get snipped. A few days of being on the couch playing video games and you have solved the problem. It was the best $700 I ever spent. The funny thing is women don’t believe me if I say I am snipped. That’s why I doubt women will trust men even if there is a male pill.

Also what the hell is “emotional burden of contraceptive activities?”
