When my schedule messes with me, I just hammer on the 6am and I’m so tired that night that follows I find dragging and can’t wait to sleep by 1030pm. Works like a charm.
Also tea can assist as you’ve pointed out and a sleeping assistant. Only thing is when I use the sleeping assist I only use it for 2 days; I call it my recalibration period. That being said my personality is totally non-addictive so even moderate use of such a drug could be a bad idea for others, even when used in moderation. It works for me, but know your personality type before you indulge in something like that.
