Caring For Your Body, Mind and Soul. Take a two minutes and focus on this message to start your day! Get comfortable, drop your shoulders, take a deep breath, become fully present, close your eyes and listen.

You are in this body until the end. Yes that is pretty obvious but do you really acknowledge this? Prioritizing your needs & investing in your human is hugely beneficial to your overall life experience. I am always happier when I take the time to invest in myself and you will be too!

Invest in your body daily and feel the difference it makes! Do what feels good to you and what makes you feel alive. Remember when you were a child and you would just lay in the sunshine for hours or run just to feel your heart pound. We get so caught up in our lives and responsibilities we can end up sacrificing caring for our bodies.

Invest in your mind and constantly engage it to grow and learn. Your mind is a tool that affects everything you interact with. It can also at times feel like a crazy toddler running you ragged. You can develop a practice of mastering your mind. Set daily time outs for yourself to meditate. Even 1 minute of focusing on your breath and silencing your mind makes a difference.

What does your being crave? What does it desire? Does it want food, sex, exercise, hydration, supplements or rest? Maybe you are craving a creative outlet or have a desire to learn something new. Or have you not been asking yourself lately? Your body has needs and when these needs are met it thrives in so many ways. Your awareness of these needs and how you respond to them improves your relationship to your being.

All too often we push our bodies and our minds harder than we should. We have our own agenda about what we want to accomplish or what needs to get done. When we adopt this way of living we routinely find ourselves exhausted, burnt out or dealing with depression and feeling disconnected from life.

What’s the best you have ever felt physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually? How good can you feel? These questions are fascinating to me. Take the time to think about your answers and develop a plan to care for your being beyond the basics. No matter what you are longing for find ways to fulfill them and watch how your life improves in all ways.
