What is a good partnership anyway? IMO is when a group of people are totally comfortable challenging each other in ways that most people wouldn’t be. For example, when making decisions. Most people want to be nice to each other and avoid conflict in decision making. It’s counter intuitive to disagree. This often leads to “group think”, confirmation bias, and ultimately a poor decision making process. In a good partnership people question each other’s assumptions and push back when things don’t make sense. The objective isn’t to be right or like-able, but to find the truth. Therefore in good partnerships no one takes offense when proven wrong — instead people see it as something positive.
