“If you lived here in Silicon Valley, and just judged from the experiences that you had, you’d think the Tesla Model S is the top-selling car in America,” he said.

He sees an opportunity for something to replace “ambient” video — TV that’s on in the background while people are doing other things, such as CNBC with the sound off in an office, or “Good Morning, America.”. That new ambient thing could be something interactive, like Alexa.
