History of communication:
Communication originated around 5000,000 BC. Almost 30,000 years ago symbols were developed, cave paintings and pictograms were developed, where pictorial representations formed a secret message that helped in communicating between several individuals. Then hieroglyphic writing was introduced after many years, which started communicating storytelling, poems, chants and so on.
In the 16th century, English alphabets were introduced. Initially, we were writing in talapatra but later paper with ink was introduced. In the 17th century Morse code was introduced for long distance telegraph before the first telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell. Telephone makes everyone’s life easy to communicate with others as telegraphs used to take several weeks and sometimes month’s — this actually was addressed by the invention of telephone.
Next major change in the communication stream was radio and television. Usually, during the yesteryears, telephone was affordable only by the rich people but time has passed and now it is affordable by almost everyone now. During the same time, radio was invented by Marconi and various information regarding education, sports, politics, events were broadcasted to people. Later, television, fax and internet were introduced. Electronic Email (E-mails) made it extremely simple — as the information can be passed in a minute of time. Now in the 21st century we are using WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and so on using various communication technologies such as 3G, 4G,5G and even 6G now.
