Title: Another Code: Recollection

Genre: Adventure

Compatible Platform: Nintendo Switch

Publisher & Release Date: Nintendo 2024.1.19 coming soon

Nothing is more ambiguous and uncertain than memory. Facts that are inconvenient to us are hidden and sometimes falsified by personal subjectivity…. Or it can happen that imprinting and assumptions lead to the illusion of truth(In Jujutsu Kaisen, Choso suddenly remembered a memory that led him to recognize that he was the older brother of his opponent, Yuji Itadori.) Even if it’s a small memory, it’s important to the person concerned if it relates to his or her roots…. The game “Another Code: Recollection” is a story deeply concerned with memory. Now, let me give you a brief synopsis.

One day, Ashley received a letter. But it was from her father Richard, who was supposed to be dead, and it said that he was waiting for her on Blood Edward Island. She headed there to meet her father…

This work is a so-called “complete version,” combining the Nintendo DS “Another Code: Two Memories” and the Wii “Another Code R: The Door of Memory” into one. Because, the aforementioned synopsis is for “Two Memories,” and the sequel, “The Door of Memory,” takes place two years later. The fantastic worldview mixed with a bit of horror elements is very appealing(The atmosphere of the isolated island where it takes place reminded me of MYSTIC ARK!)

As for the game system, it’s similar to an open-world game, and the beautiful 3D graphics are mesmerizing. The addition of new scenarios further enhances the mystery and worldview quality (moreover, there’s an assist feature for beginners!)

Another Code: Recollection” should be fun for all fantasy horror fans, regardless of age. I can’t wait for this to be released!

See you tomorrow!
