One of my favorite horror topics is true ghost stories. The poet Byron said. “Truth is stranger than fiction.” The way ordinary people’s daily lives are transformed into something wondrous by the strangeness is more fictional than any novel. When we’re confronted with these things, the boundary between reality and fantasy blurs. Nothing could be more horrifying… The game “The Great Ghost House: Jun Hamamura’s True Ghost Stories (大幽霊屋敷 浜村淳の実話怪談)” is a sound novel game based on a true ghost story. Let me give you a brief synopsis.

College student Akira Kuga went to a place called the Great Ghost House for an interview for a part-time job during the school summer break. This interview was very unique the examiner would tell the candidate a ghost story, and the candidate’s reaction would determine whether he or she passed or failed.

There are a total of Forty-one ghost stories included in this game. Of these, twenty-six stories will have audio, and the remaining Fifteen will be of the traditional read-text type. Once you have conquered the game, you can enjoy the story again in the archive. There are few choices, and the game is played in a way that allows you to surrender to the flow of the story, but you can enjoy a variety of ghost stories. It’s a work that can be enjoyed not only by horror game fans.

See you tomorrow!
