However, the fate of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients still exists in an oddly terrifying grey space. There really isn’t an specific thing people can point to that definitively says that Trump would dismantle the immigration plan that offers safety from deportation to millions of undocumented youths. That hasn’t stopped many DACA recipients from proudly sharing what they have done with the protection.
There are Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients that are going into overlooked and underserved schools.
Title 1 schools are schools with a high population os students from low-income families, according to the U.S. Department of Education.
Others are taking their knowledge and compassion to the world of higher education.
Seriously, so many of these DACA recipients are teaching the future of America.
We really do need more of these passionate and dedicated people to teach in a country where the educational system is referred to as “training yesterday’s students.”
And if they aren’t teaching, they are helping students navigate their own paths to higher education.
DACA recipients are getting ready to serve their fellow Americans as doctors.
Because when you need life-saving surgery, a doctor’s immigration status is the last thing you’d think of.
America is quickly learning that DACA has given people the chance to succeed in whatever they want to do.
A lot of people would call that the American dream.
Some have even dedicated their lives to social work.
DACA has opened the doors for so many people to give back to their communities like never before.
Whole families are benefiting from this immigration policy.
This is why DACA even became a thing.
Legit. It seems like these DACA recipients are in it for the education and advancement of themselves and America.
America seems to be benefiting from people getting into the DACA program.
It is generating more tax dollars for America and people are coming out of the shadows and contributing more and more to American society.
There are some truly heartwarming explanations of what some of have been able to do for their families with DACA.
But, more importantly, it is giving children who were brought here by no choice of their own a normal life.
