Interesting perspective, however by mentioning the example of the crucified “owner-of-a-so-called-racist-comment” and his destruction and because we are not there as a community/society/species(?) it prevents any counter feedback to this article and thus the writer opinion of this “imaginary monster” becomes de facto. Just saying…

Also this “human instinct” still (in this modern era) preserves human life from repeating the same errors over and over again (most of the time). Its called experience and even though some things get picked up at a very young age as the writer says, people have the ability to change their minds during their lives.
