Pressure sensitive adhesive is a kind of pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is mainly used for the preparation of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. Pressure-sensitive adhesive in accordance with the main resin composition can be divided into rubber and resin type. Rubber type can be divided into natural rubber and synthetic rubber; resin type and mainly include acrylic, silicone and polyurethane.

Rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive in addition to the main component of rubber, but also by adding other auxiliary ingredients, such as tackifying resin, plasticizer, filler, viscosity regulator, curing agent, antioxidant, solvent and other cooperation. The resin-like pressure-sensitive adhesive in addition to the main resin, but also need to add defoamers, leveling agent, wetting agent and other additives.

In addition to the above classification method, the pressure-sensitive adhesive can be divided according to the different dispersion medium, divided into water-based and solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesive; can be divided into different uses, packaging, protection, insulation, warning, marking, stationery and other products. Natural rubber-based rubber type of pressure-sensitive adhesive, curing temperature is low, good viscosity, good temperature resistance, but the antioxidant, anti-aging is poor. Silicone rubber and silicone resin as a component of silicone pressure sensitive adhesive, anti-stripping performance, but still is poor resistance to aging.
