Great post! (as always)

I have a sort of “other side of the coin” anecdote: yesterday on the local evening news there was a story with video footage featuring people walking a woodsy path to a lakeshore. As they walked past the camera I noticed a shirtless young man, and multiple girls wearing either extreme short-shorts or just a top over their swimsuit. For a split second my brain freaked out, wondering what these people were doing running around without all their clothes on, and how could the station get away with showing this footage?! It took a measurable moment for me to realize that they were wearing swimwear, which of course is totally okay (right?).

After reading your post I realize that the trained reaction I experienced at the sight of under-dressed people outside of an acceptable context (there was no water or beach visible) is exactly the pointlessly closeminded attitude that prevents you from shopping or having a nice lunch while sporting your boyshorts.

Thanks for yet another awesome mind-opener!
