Some people spend their entire lives settling for mediocrity; settling for “good enough”. They fail to live up to their full potential and never realize that they have so much more to offer. Settling for less leads to a life of complacency, boredom, and a never-ending inner dialogue of “what ifs”. What if I took that opportunity I passed up a year ago? How would that have changed my life? At the end of the day, you will regret the chances you never take.
Time and time again I have witnessed individuals give up on a dream or a goal because it was too hard or too much work. This kind of thinking is the equivalent of severing a limb; it renders you immobile in life, unable to grow and evolve. Life builds walls for us to figure out how to climb them. Making changes is hard, but consider the challenges as growing pains. You are not going to be handed a better situation; you have to work for it and overcome obstacles.

Through dedication and hard work, you can accomplish anything you want. You are selling yourself short by settling for anything less than you desire. One major key to success is determination. Make a goal and take steps (even if they are baby steps) towards achieving it every day.
