In every suggested trade in which Kyrie Irving ends up on the Spurs and Cleveland ends up with a decent point guard, the third team in the deal gets completely ripped off. So it can’t happen unless you have a third team willing to be completely ripped off.
The “good cop” above suggests that Phoenix take LaMarcus Aldridge, let the Cavs have Bledsoe and others, and get only one first-round pick in exchange? A Spurs first-round pick that is only a couple of picks ahead of the second round? No way. You’d have to give me three lottery picks to get me to take LMA’s contract.
