Photo Diary: Long Weekend

There are times when you walk around the shore and the whole place seems to be listening to the same song. I know this is true because it’s always the same thing whenever I’m going home. My feet walks along the shoreline knowingly, my hand tapping to the same rhythm the sea is humming to.
But life doesn’t always play the same song you want. Sometimes it wants you to dance after it gets you down and you’re too weary to even muster up the strength to stand up. Sometimes it wants to to sway gracefully when all you want to do is be the wild thing that you are, fireworks and all.
And just when you’ve given up, you hear the faint laughter of the people you call home. And you find yourself dancing again. Too hard. Too carelessly. And that’s when you know you’re alive.
