Bull Shark diving in Playa del Carmen, Mexico

Bull sharks like sandy bottoms and warm shallow brackish water. This pretty much describes Playa del Carmen. December the male sharks hang out near Cancun and the pregnant females head down to Playa to have their young.

Bull shark diving usually consists of diving down to the bottom and sitting in one place as they swim around you. This is quite exicting as they are considered “agressive sharks” and few people know that they “are probably responsible for the majority of near-shore shark attacks, including many bites attributed to other species.”
