That Heineken Ad Isn’t Sweet; It’s Dangerous
Mirah Curzer

I appreciate what the ad was trying to do but it made me both sad and uncomfortable for reasons this article explores. I said it on another forum and I’ll say it again: To evolve as a species, we humans need to abandon animalistic gendered thinking and get in touch with our spirit selves. Man, woman, or someone in between, we are spiritual beings in transient bodies. Nothing else is permanent (atheists would say not even the spiritual part). We might as well all be blue aliens, and I’ll admire you for being the Shakespeare of aliens, not for being the most macho alien in the ‘hood who brings me the most mammoth meat to consume. Ugh. Come on, MRA’s, it’s really not that hard to understand. >.<
