In case you’ve missed it, or have been trapped within Luigi’s Mansion, Nintendo has been releasing new courses for their Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in a series of waves, this being the final one. The first wave launched back in March 2022, and has been releasing waves consisting of 8 courses around every season or so.

Alongside the revamped tracks, the Booster Course Pass has included a variety of returning characters for players to race with making the selection even more exciting.

Being a Mario Kart Double Dash lover myself, this addition has me jumping for joy. D.K. Mountain was one of my childhood favorite courses to pick, and with the recreated course I couldn’t be more excited! This nostalgic race down the soon-to-be erupting volcano brings a smile to my face as I remember all the fun times I had playing this on my Gamecube. Oh, the nostalgia…

SNES: Mario Kart™ Bowser Castle 3

Alongside iconic Rainbow Roads, no game feels complete without the castle of chaos Bowser seems to have in store. Combat fire and lava as you compete to cross the finish line through what seems to be the King of the Koopas personal torture chamber. Bowser Castle 3 for the SNES is a classic going back to the beginning, and it’s a welcomed addition to the Booster DLC.

After racing through Bowser’s lava lair, cool off in Rosalina’s Ice World. Skate through this winter wonderland as you whisk around this frozen terrain. Mario Kart 3DS fans have long awaited for this addition in the DLC, and I’m sure are getting their snow tires ready for this remastered beauty.
