My Internal Tug of War
Dena Patrick

Too bad people want to put their own goals first before asking for love and compassion and rarely forgiveness.

Thank you for dissecting these points that many people who advocate for and work with marginalized and invisible populations ask themselves. You’re good. Yes, similar to Emergency responders, you triage and deal with those needing life saving actions and move on from there. FWIW, most people who would be uncomfortable working with a person who calls out racist behavior, do as much damage to the fabric of society by not calling it out as those who are openly racist and hurtful.

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
