I think this is something that isn’t emphasized enough nowadays — PMs really should be “servant leaders”. Specifically, they should be working in a way where designers can spend as much of their time as possible doing design work, and engineers coding. The “unsexy” stuff falls on the PM's shoulders. (Maybe the approach is becoming outdated with the new expectation that everyone should only hire unicorns? Open to debate on that).
