Maybe I set my personal standards a little high but I certainly did expect a person named the Secretary of the Department of Education to posses the reading comprehension skills to be able to read and understand at least one paragraph. The First Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. This woman should probably not make public statements without having a real educator approve the content. If she keeps making idiotic comments like this the countries education system might lose confidence in her.
