“Ship It” Ships

Two years ago, I was sitting in a hospital room because my son was having some medical issues (again) and I wondered, “How many words are in a Kindle Single?” That was the start of what I’m announcing today.

I’m thrilled to announce that, after some mild delays, my first book, “Ship It” is now available on Amazon for your purchasing pleasure. Or if you’d like to have me get more of the sale price and formats like PDF or ePub, you can still buy it off of LeanPub .

What started as an exercise of “Hey, I could do that” is now a full fledged product for you to buy, read, review, comment on, tear apart, praise, and share with your friends.

I’ve shipped.

The book itself catalogs some of the processes I have used to ship products, both professionally and personally. It explains why your friends have apps in the iOS app store or their own book on Amazon. It walks you through some of the things I do to help me get a handle on the ideas, thoughts, and methods that have help myself and others I know get their ideas from their heads and in front of users, customers, readers, and so on.

I hope you enjoy the book. It’s short, and sits about center in Amazon Kindle Single length, meaning that you should have no problems getting through it quickly. I hope that it inspires you to not let your ideas remain ideas but rather become realities that can be put in front of people regardless if it is a book, website, movie, screenplay, or music album. Whatever it is you’re thinking you want to do, get out there and do it.

Ship it!
