People everywhere are maximizing there income by simply finding the right fit for them. However, trying to find the right fit for you will not be easy. It will take time and it will take some research. That being said, it doesn’t mean there isn’t a way it can happen. For me personally, the research was long but only because my options were so varied. So today I’m going to tell you guys a few different ways to make money, along with the good and the bad that comes along with it.

Something that will be helpful to everyone reading this or maybe those just looking to use the internet to there advantage and make some money, take the tips of your choice after reading this article and do your research to make sure it’s the best option for you. Nothing feels worse than thinking something was the right choice and later finding out there was a better option of doing it. The tips given in this article are from personal experience or someone whom I know had or has experience in that particular website. With that being said, let’s get into the options.

YOUTUBE

Now I know what you might be thinking, everyone knows about YouTube. However, not everyone knows about all the different ways YouTube can be useful to them. YouTube definitely has its perks as time goes on, but it also has its disadvantages. We will start with all of the options, along with advantages and disadvantages.

  • Personal channel — This option would be for those who aren’t camera shy, love to give their videos tons of personality, and overall become a celebrity with time. This option is not for everyone, although it can be great for personal development and building a personal brand.
  • Non Facial Videos — This option is for those that love the video field but don’t like the idea of having a camera staring at them. With this option you can make almost any type of video, and use your voice or a voice filter to talk over the footage to keep things transparent. Their are so many videos on YouTube with different options on topics for these videos.
  • Non voice and facial videos — So what do you do when you when you are camera and voice shy? Make a video. Their are different ways you can go about this option but some of the ways that stick out the most are — vlogs with subtitles, information videos with subtitles and background music, memes videos. Those three are some of a few options that can make you money without you having to be on camera.

Anyone can make a YouTube video and post it. You just have to consider which option is best for you. Just remember that YouTube isn’t guaranteed money instantly and it can take weeks, months, maybe even a year before you see any pay or profit from the company. Just be consistent with your uploads and keep it going for the best results. Now let’s get into the pros and cons of being in the YouTube industry.

Pros

  • No 9–5 job
  • Own creations
  • Make your own schedule

Cons

  • Hours of video editing
  • No base income
  • Unpredictable

When it comes to YouTube that’s about everything to touch base on, well besides more detail into how to start and move along with it, editing, effects, and everything like that. YouTube can be a great outlet but it can also be very unpredictable. There is no way to tell what is going to go viral, and what won’t go viral. It’s all about learning what you want to do on your platform and how to use it to your advantage.

REDBUBBLE

REDBUBBLE is a really good site for a passive income source. On REDBUBBLE you create a personal design made by you, and you can put it on different products of your choosing. They have T-shirts, mugs, blankets and all kinds of stuff you can put your design on. Once you upload the products with the design of your choosing, people can buy them. One of the great things about REDBUBBLE is you don’t have to have any money to start, you only gain money. Not only do you gain money, but the only work you have to do is make your design and pick out the products that you want to sell your design on and that’s it. After that REDBUBBLE takes care of everything else. So you can literally make money while you sleep, or go out to eat, or while you are at your job.

REDBUBBLE isn’t a site that you will make hundreds of dollars at your first go, well maybe it can be, but it all depends on your design and the products that house your design. This site is more for the artistic people in the world. There are tons of unique t-shirts and products. Now that isn’t to say that you can’t make money with a design that isn’t unique, but you risk the chance of copyright if the design isn’t your own. One of the best ways to sell on REDBUBBLE is being unique. So get out your drawing board and create something that speaks to you and sell it.

When it comes to pros and cons there aren’t really cons besides the fact that you will either make money with a design or you won’t, and that since they are printing them on demand they do get commission for the products. Other than that there really isn’t a reason not to be selling a product on REDBUBBLE. You could probably make 10 dollars a month or 1000, maybe even more than that. So definitely try out this option.

CAFEPRESS

Cafepress is another on demand printing company. However cafepress is a little different when it comes to designs. On cafepress you can sell almost any design. Anything from cute quotes to logos, basically anything kind of design you can think of you can sell.

Now just like with any other selling site, not everything is an automatic sell. Some designs will do well and others might not even sell, but that’s the beauty of owning a business, selling items, its really all about trial and error. However the most important thing is to be consistent, keep your imagination flowing, and always keep your positivity high. Also remember that failing is just one way that didn’t work, and to try a new method next time and it just might be successful.

When it comes to pros and cons with this method, I’m going with the same reasons as REDBUBBLE. It’s not something that is necessarily a bad thing to have as a side hustle. If you are looking for full time work, it will take awhile to build more of an income.

MEDIUM

More than likely if you are reading this article you are on Medium right now! You can actually make money with writing articles. Now it isn’t gonna be very significant at first, but after typing up a few articles and traction coming to your articles you can eventually make an income from it. There are tons of things to write about, so many articles that can be made, so the real question is, why not join?

This one is a really good option for those that may not be as artistic drawing wise. Not only that writing is so therapeutic, and you can pick topics that relate more to things you enjoy. Now just like before this option will also take time to make money from but its still something to try out. Not to mention if you already love Medium, its just an add on that makes you enjoy it even more.

Overview

Everything mentioned in this article are from either personal experience or people whom i know have experience with them. With that being said these options aren’t for everyone, but its something that could definitely be an option if you need some extra cash. There are so many other options out there, these are just a few that can make you money long term.
