So, what are you waiting for? Take your backpack and your camera, today we are sharing with you top seven places in New York to take pictures.

Here’s the list:

1- Empire State Building

Located on Fifth Avenue between West 33rd and 34th streets in midtown Manhattan, the 102 story skyscraper gives you an amazing view. Not only this, the distinct art deco style of construction further makes it mesmerizing. You can take a picture of it or one standing on top of it (undoubtedly after buying a ticket). Either way, you’ll have a beautiful picture to add to your collection.

2- Grand Central Station

Located at 42nd street and Park Avenue in Midtown, the railroad terminal station is another beautiful place for photographs. The dining, shopping, and tour make it one of the happening places of the city. The site can indeed give you pictures of both solace and city crowd. It’s just that you need to visit it at the right time.

3- Flatiron Building

Located at 175 Fifth Avenue, the triangular-shaped steel-framed building has a total of 22 floors in it. The building is counted as one of the most innovative creations of its time. Also, once the steel frame was placed in its place, the architects took just four months to complete the construction. Being marked as a New York City landmark in 1996, the building was opened to people for the first time in 1902.

4- Central Park

The Park today hosts millions of visitors every year is also known as the heart of Manhattan. The park extends from North 110th Street to 59th Street and from 8th Avenue to 5th Avenue. Covering 843 acres of land area, the park is open throughout the year for its visitors. People visit the Park to see Zoo and to relax. Here, you can take photographs of flora, fauna, and the humans, all at one place.

5- One World Trade Center

The place isn’t just special for its architecture or the view it gives, but it also has a significant space for the memories attached to the place where it made. This is why we also call it Freedom Tower. We recommend you to buy tickets and spend some time at the observatory deck. Taking a picture and narrating the way time changes can prove to be a good idea to feature your creative photography skills.

6- New York Public Library

With over 53 million items housed, New York Public Library is recognized as the second largest library in the United States and fourth largest globally. Located on 476 5th Avenue, the library can give you a range of philosophical and creative pictures. However, you need to prior permission from the authorities. We recommend you to include a picture of the lion’s statue outside the library.

7- Statue of Liberty

Dedicated on Oct 28, 1886, statue of Liberty is located on Liberty Island Manhattan. The statue is made from copper and is a gift from France to the US. You can find a number of tourists boast who’ll give you a free ride to reach the island. You can also take exclusive pictures by going to the top of the crown. However, to reach there you need to make advance reservations. Being quite frank, whether you take pictures from anywhere around the statue or from the top of it, you’ll have some beautiful pictures to treasure for a lifetime.
