I was thinking of using Firebase for an upcoming project to try and validate an idea I had.

If you have any legacy code (i.e your own framework, tech stack that works or moving blocks that you’re already familiar with) — I suggest you’ll build based off that.

Firebase seems rapid but you sometimes have to go through hoops or tackle unforseen issues (like buggy deployment process, especially with cloud functions).

I wouldn’t recommend it unless your app is real-time.
