The right way to start a company

Outstanding article Sam!

I have interacted with dozens of would-be-entrepreneurs that never launch, and a very common theme is their passion is primarily “I want to be my own boss.”

Unfortunately that usually means they don’t understand how to:

  • work in teams
  • adopt lessons learned
  • engage in six-sigma to ‘build-it-right’ with an agile quality culture from day one
  • collaborate with other start-ups
  • respond positively to the first demanding paying customer, who for any successful business must ultimately be the boss and source of 90%+ of innovation going forward
