Case study
User story: As a user I want to connect to a pair of insoles smoothly
State: We use multiple insoles so that a store assistant can grab random 2 insoles and connect to them.
Insoles as a Bluetooth device can have unstable signal and are blocked by human body.
Tech solution:
- Connect to the closest pair. Show pressure map.
- Let a user to rescan if those were wrong insoles.
UX Solution
- Connect to insoles one by one and find those with pressure of human body.
- Show pressure map only when human body pressure is detected
Results
- A bit longer waiting time for user
- Less mistakes when connecting to the insoles in use
