Case study

User story: As a user I want to connect to a pair of insoles smoothly

State: We use multiple insoles so that a store assistant can grab random 2 insoles and connect to them.

Insoles as a Bluetooth device can have unstable signal and are blocked by human body.

Most cases last step showed wrong / no foot pressure

Tech solution:

1. Connect to the closest pair. Show pressure map.
2. Let a user to rescan if those were wrong insoles.

UX Solution

1. Connect to insoles one by one and find those with pressure of human body.
2. Show pressure map only when human body pressure is detected

Results

1. A bit longer waiting time for user
2. Less mistakes when connecting to the insoles in use
