Edward-Elmhurst Health Clinic

Edward-Elmhurst Health Clinic is located on North Weber Road in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Edward-Elmhurst has been around for over sixty two years and is a non-profit organization. Edward-Elmhurst Medical Group employs more than a hundred board certified physicians and midlevel medical professionals. They offer primary and specialty care at over forty locations, this specific location also has an immediate care for more urgent medical needs.

The Bolingbrook location is a full-service, regional healthcare provider accommodating to multiple needs. Nurse practitioner Sandra Mazur specializes in family practice at this facility. She delivers family focused healthcare from health promotion and disease prevention to direct care and counseling across the lifespan. “We also have immediate care, and services like lab and x-ray, CT, MRI, neurology, cardiology, and general surgery.” Not only do they take care of the physical needs of their patients, they also take care of their mental well-being. They have behavioral health counseling and therapy as well as occupational health. Edward-Elmhurst Health Clinic in Bolingbrook has been providing these comprehensive services and more since 1992.

Being one of the premiere health care facilities in the area they have focused on expanding their advertising. They did this by hiring Danica Patrick, the race car driver, to promote their motto of “Healthy Driven”. Sandra states, “We are driven to give you the best healthcare that we can.” Establishing this motto and changing their campaign has helped the community become more familiarized with the Edward-Elmhurst philosophy.

Along with being driven to give the best healthcare to their patients ,they also have a motto of being ‘G.R.E.A.T’. Patients are Greeted right as they walk in by patient service representatives. Health professionals Relate to their patients on a personal level and Educate them on their medications and health treatments. The ‘A’ is for Ask. They encourage patients to ask questions no matter how insignificant they may seem. “Thats important because it affects their medical well being and how they are taking care of themselves.” Sandra explains. Sandra also goes onto say,“The T stands for Thanks, we always want to thank our patients for coming in and seeing us because without them we wouldn’t have jobs.”

The Edward-Elmhurst foundation and the Edward-Elmhurst’s 5K are just two of the many ways that allow them to get involved in the community. Edward-Elmhurst wants to be part of your healthcare journey. No matter where one is along the way, Edward-Elmhurst can drive us all to a healthier place.
