Sources On Death Penalty
Annotated Bibliography
Bazelon, E. (2015). Too Harsh. New York Times Magazine, 13–16.
In this scholarly article Bazelon goes on to explain the both sides of capital punishment and life in prison. He wrote this article because of the rise of arguments about mass incarceration. Bazelon also talks about how immigration plays a key to the mass incarceration and how these immigrants get sent on death row because of the crimes they have committed. This source is going to help me on my paper because they are comparing and contrasting capital punishment with life in prison. With arguments going on both sides I am going to be able to see the different views of what people think.

I am going to be able t use this source to show me the different types of executions it provides and how much it cost per execution. Hang them all?. (2014). Economist, 411(8885), 45.
In this article Kairo wrote, in the “Economist,” of an incident that occurred. Judge Said Yusuf sent 529 men to death row after a murder of a police officer in March 2014. In late April he charged 600+ more men in a separate case. Kairo later went on to explain that just 37 men were left in death row. This source is going to help me because it will help support the claim I made about that the death penalty is used in most cases for revenge. Using this example shows strong evidence on that and explains why people want to get rid of capital punishment.
