I have to admit that some people seem not to have the luck, timing or what you may call it, to succeed. Yet, it can’t all be an exercise of futility by them, even if they do fail. That seems to be a little too damning and final, for a meaning of life (which they might not be looking for, but I guess they might ask at some point is it worth it all).
At the very least, perhaps we should give them a reason to hope, to make it through another attempt, another experiment, another shot to make anew, or to make new things. I make a mess of things in the canteen that I run. My team is extremely kind in that they take a lot of the “suggestions” I make with good humour. We’re from two different cultures and backgrounds, and sometimes, we enrich each other. A lot of the times, there’s wasted food. But I look at the few successful experiments that we made, and it gives me hope to continue to try. Wouldn’t it be great if those who tried, felt tired, were able to get a pick-me-up?
Now, in what form and substance that comes in is up for grabs :D
