I’m thrilled to embark on an exciting journey of exploration and learning with you through my new series, “100 Days of Byte-wise” during my Machine Learning Fellowship at Bytewise Ltd. Because of this fellowship, I get an opportunity to document my journey, reflect on my experiences, and share my insights with others. It’s a great chance to explore new ideas, challenge myself, and grow both personally and professionally.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing my practical experiences, insights, challenges, resources, and personal reflections as I delve into various aspects of ML/DL technology and development.
Each week I’ll dive into a new topic, From setting up my learning environment to tackling hands-on projects, I’ll share it all — from the highs of breakthroughs to the lows of overcoming challenges.

Introduction to 100 Days of Byte-wise:
Bytewise Fellowship is unlike any other; it features not only fellows but also exceptionally passionate and extraordinary leaders selected through stringent criteria.
Fellows selection criteria included:
- Initial Screening
- The Video Interview
- Application Form and Agreement
After successfully navigating through the initial screening, acing the video interview, and completing the application form and agreement I finally got the selection mail. I never imagined I would become part of this fellowship, yet I waited with hopeful anticipation for a response. However, following these steps, I encountered a slight delay. But as they say, good things take time.⌛
On June 8, 2024, I was thrilled when I received the email informing me of my selection as “ML/DL Bytewise Fellow” for the BWT-ML/DL Track at Bytewise Ltd. 🎉
Purpose and Goals:
This series aims to document my progress and discoveries as I delve into the intricacies of Machine Learning during my fellowship, from basics to more advanced concepts. My goal is not only to enhance my skills but also to inspire and connect with fellow learners and enthusiasts in the tech community.
Fellowship Framework
As part of the fellowship, we’ll receive daily tasks to complete over 100 days. I’ll be documenting my journey and insights through weekly blog posts. This structured approach will keep us actively learning and applying new concepts consistently throughout the program.
Also, it places a strong emphasis on:

- Community Engagement

Our journey began with an introductory meeting guided by our esteemed mentor, Nimra Waqar, a dedicated software engineer and machine learning enthusiast, from COMSATS University Islamabad, Attock Campus. The most exciting aspect of this fellowship is the opportunity to engage with a vibrant and expansive community. This community provides a wealth of knowledge, support, and collaboration opportunities that will enrich my learning experience immensely.
So through this fellowship, I get a chance to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for machine learning, and data science. I am looking forward to the opportunity to learn from others’ feedback and experiences, ensuring continuous growth and engagement throughout this exciting venture.
