Cherry Valley Swim Club hosting 57th annual Cherry Bowl on Saturday

The meet will kick off at 9 a.m. and continue through the morning and afternoon.

Maggie McMillan of Cherry Valley won the girls’ 13–14 100-meter individual medley at the 2015 Cherry Bowl. Cherry Valley is the host club for this year’s Cherry Bowl.

A Cherry Hill tradition continues on Saturday as Cherry Valley Swim Club hosts the 57th annual Cherry Bowl Swimming Championships.

Hundreds of young swimmers from 13 Cherry Hill swim clubs will participate in the daylong meet featuring more than 60 different events. The event begins with opening ceremonies shortly after 8 a.m. The meet will begin at 9 a.m. and continue through the afternoon. In addition to swimming, there will be activities for kids, vendors and food for purchase.

Tickets to Cherry Bowl are $7 per person. A program for the event also costs $7. Anyone who cannot attend the event will be able to follow along with live results posted to the meet’s website.
