In this T-Mobile ad, television host Steve Harvey explains how “the ball drops.” Harvey explains how it wasn’t his fault, this time, that last years numbers were being showed on Verizon’s commercials. He mocked the incident in which he accidentally announced Miss Colombia as the winner, instead of the actual winner Miss Philippines. He explains, “it even says so on the card!” But is it too soon?

The commercial was definitely a hit, using humor as an underlining basis. But some seem to think that this commercial, mocking his mistake was too soon. He tells US Weekly Magazine that contrary to any speculation that the incident could have been a publicity stunt, he actually didn’t appreciate the publicity at all. He and Gutierrez, Miss Colombia, actually made amends on his TV show. Now, it can actually be something they can both laugh at.
