Excellent. I personally think learning a language like Python etc (which has applications in robotics, computational research, game development etc) is beneficial to any developer. Being able to use a different language of their choice to finish back-end projects is a superb way of making the curriculum more flexible and yet managing to hit learning goals (developing web applications which work).
