Manage Team

Team leaders have the ability to review and approve new member applications or disband the team. Team members can choose to leave the team voluntarily. However, during the course of participating in a competition until its conclusion, these permissions will be locked. During this period, the team is prohibited from disbanding or members from leaving the team.

Team Backpack

The team backpack primarily serves the purpose of contributing entry tickets when registering for competitions. Team members and the team leader can devote their own entry tickets to the team backpack. Additionally, the team leader has the authority to use the team backpack when registering for Tournaments.

3. Arena Room Introduction

Arena Room is a match mode that can be participated in by individuals without any entry requirements. It supports creating your own arena rooms and inviting other players to join. You can also join other matches by checking the list. Additionally, you can enter designated rooms through Quick Join for matches.

4. Team Arena Introduction

  • First, in order to create a Team Arena, the team must have a full roster of five members, and it’s the team captain’s responsibility to initiate it.
  • Team Arena involves a 5v5 mode, and the organizer’s team captain can customize the format, such as BO1, BO3, or BO5.
  • Additionally, organizers have the flexibility to set the registration deadline and start time for the Team Arena. Before the registration deadline, another team needs to sign up for the competition, and the team leader can also invite the other team to participate.
  • When registering for the Team Arena, participating teams must have a full roster of 5 members.
  • Furthermore, once the team leader initiates the competition until the event ends or right before it begins, no additional teams can join. Teams are considered in a “competition in progress” status.
  • Participating teams are also not allowed to engage in other competitions until the current one has concluded.

5. Cup Match Introduction

Cup Match follows a single-elimination format, and teams must have a full roster of 5 players to participate. The Cup Match events will be organized by AOF officials, third-party organizers, or KOLs like streamers.

Registration Rules

Cup Match has registration-based and RANK-based selection rules.

  • If the Cup Match relies on registration-based criteria, team leaders can participate in the event by successfully registering before the registration deadline.
  • If the Cup Match employs RANK-based selection criteria, the system will rank registered teams based on their Team RANK at the end of the selection period, with higher-ranked teams being chosen to participate.

Cup Match Format

  • Organizers will set different formats for each stage, such as Quarterfinals of BO1, Semifinals of BO3, and Finals of BO5.
  • Multiple teams can register for the Cup Match, and after the event starts, a random drawing will determine matchups.
  • In the process of participating, if a team faces elimination in any round, they will be out of the competition with no chance for revival, until a team consistently wins and becomes the Champion.

6. Tournament Introduction

The Tournament format builds upon the Cup Match by introducing group round-robin and double elimination rounds. Currently, the Tournament is solely hosted by AOF officials. Each season features a Tournament event with substantial CP rewards for the victorious teams.

Registration Rules

  • A minimum of 32 teams is required to register for the tournament.
  • Team members must have either a Pioneer Avatar NFT or a ticket to participate in the tournament.
  • Players with Avatar NFTs do not require tickets.
  • When registering for the Tournament, a ticket is required if the player doesn’t hold any NFTs.

Tournament Format

  • The Tournament format builds upon the Cup Match by introducing group round-robin and double elimination rounds.
  • When teams participate in the Tournament, they are initially grouped randomly by the system, with each group consisting of four teams. In these groups, teams engage in a single round-robin battle.
  • Each team is required to compete against the other teams within their group exactly once, and the format of these matches is determined by the AOF officials, which can be BO1, BO3, or BO5.
  • After all group matches are completed, the system ranks the teams within each group based on their round-robin scores.

Tournament Advancement

  • Teams ranking top in their groups advance to the second stage.
  • In the second stage of the Tournament, the official has the flexibility to choose between a single-elimination or double-elimination format(the single-elimination format is the same as the Cup Match).

Double Elimination Round

  • The double-elimination round is tentatively composed of 8 teams. During this stage, the First Lose Round will determine winners and losers. Teams that win in this round will advance to the winners’ bracket, while those that lose will move to the losers’ bracket.
  • The winning team from the winner’s bracket proceeds to the next round of the winner’s bracket matches, while the losing team enters the second stage of matches in the loser’s bracket.
  • In the first round of the losers’ bracket, teams that lost in the First Loss Round will compete in another round. Teams that lose again in this round will be eliminated, while the winning teams will advance to the second stage of the loser’s bracket. In this stage, they will participate in a revival match against the teams that lost in the first round of the winner’s bracket. The winning team from the revival match will move on to the second round of the loser’s bracket, and the losing team will be eliminated.
  • The two teams from the winners’ and losers’ brackets will advance to the Grand Finals and compete for the Champion and Runner-up.
