Facebook Goes Full “Black Mirror”: How Facebook Is Making Membership a Prerequisite to Everyday…
Jason Ditzian

Great article. While I am on other social networks (Twitter and Instagram), I deleted my FaceBook account a few years ago. I have had some FOMO moments too and love to party, but I just couldn’t continue feeding the FaceBook monsters my data with good conscience. Sadly there is little I see happening towards the problems you’ve outlined since these are private companies and services, and no one from our government is compelling anyone to join or use them. It does become very frustrating when services only default to FaceBook. There are a few apps I haven’t been able to explore b/c of this. Good luck out there!
