Mobius Finance airdrop announcement
Dear Mobius Finance community:
Mobius Finance has been deployed on Polygon for over a month, during this period we have exceeded $1 million in platform trading volume. This is a milestone for us and we will keep improving in several aspects as the protocol unfolds its potential.
In the process of daily operations, we have found several challenges, including the Polygon network’s stability issues and the decline of the overall activity of the community. Therefore, Mobius Finance’s team has been committed to implementing a multi-chain expansion plan and is prepared to deploy it on the Fantom network in the near future.
We have analyzed the addresses that interacted with our smart contracts and spent a lot of time tracing their behavior. Since the stress test activity was virtually cost-free, initial data showed that the participating addresses exceeded 100,000+ but over 95% were bots performing a Sybil attack. This has happened on several airdrops campaigns from other protocols which leads to bots accumulating rewards and dumping them since they just want to profit. We still believe that early supporters participated and helped to test the Beta, and we will reward them with our airdrop.
The original total amount to be airdroped was 1 million $MOT. This amount will be distributed to the selected winners by the following Milestone Release Schedule:
- Price increases by 100% — 100,000 MOT
- TVL increases by 5 million — 100,000 MOT
- QuickSwap MOT/USDT liquidity increases by $1,000,000–100,000 MOT
- Multiple chain deployment — 100,000 MOT
- List on top exchanges — 100,000 MOT
- Rolling 30 days trading volume reaches $10,000,000–100,000 MOT
- Mobius Finance launches 30 synthetics markets — 100,000
We will start the measurement from midnight UTC on December 1st, 2021. These KPIs are recurrent, for example, the price of MOT at 12:01 pm UTC December 1st is $0.15, once the price reaches $0.30, 100,000 will be released. On December 27th, the price is not $0.60 (this means that the price has increased again by 100%), another 100,000 will be released.
To further filter out fake accounts from real supporters, the official list of winners will be posted only on Discord.
