This really does look good but haven’t we seen similar before? (I’m sure the tech has evolved). The problem is adoption. No-one is going to bother making their product play nice without evidence that a large numbers will be wearing the ring and people won’t wear the ring without big name sign ups. For me, the prices I’ve seen on other articles will be a major hurdle. It’s just too expensive. Ideally I’d like to see a free or very cheap demo device; maybe something that will only last a few months (or even a wear for a couple of months then pay or return it), then go for the money with shiny jewelry.

As you say in the article, people need to be persuaded. Not many people can pay out over $300 on something that might be cool.
