Day 3 — MUNOT 2019

Yesterday was the third day of MUNOT 2019. The committees started their day by working on their second resolutions.

Two guest speakers surprised us with their great speeches. Our first guest was from the German Ambassador Mrs. Christiane Hohmann. She mainly introduced us, how the real UN works. For example they do not vote, because it can have a negative impact. Mrs. Hohmann enquired how we do in our committees and gave great advice on how to solve our problems that we might face. Many delegates were amazed by actively participating in the lively discussion.

After lunch, a geologist, Päärn Paiste, from the University of Tartu entertained us about the impact and effects of climate change in Estonia and in the whole world. As appropriate for a scientist, Mr. Paiste used many graphs to illustrate his presentation and to forward the important information.

At the end of the 3rd day everyone finished their resolutions and did some more funny punishments, which mainly were surprisingly professional lap-dances. And of course the juicy gossip was shared in the committees.
