Selfish, And Proud
1 min readOct 8, 2017
A poem.
If I was a warrior
Valhalla were too small a reward
If I was a mortal soul
Utopia would a prize not do
If I was Snowball
Sugarcandy mountain were too little a promise
If I was a god
Olympus were too wretched an abode
If I was a lost soul
Sheol were too subtle a recompense
If I was an angel
Nirvana were too light an endowment
If I was a demon
Tartarus were nothing for shackles
All hail my awesome self
I’m selfish, and proud!
I’m human.
