Invest In Your Health, Not An iPhone

America is an interesting place, our society is so caught up in what the next big thing is (your welcome Samsung haha). People spend thousands of dollars every year just to have the most recent IPhone , Ipad, MacBook, Apple Watch, etc. On top of that there are people who camp out and spend time to make sure they get it first. We have clothing and shoe fanatics who spend hundreds on every year. If you like these items and you have your priorities straight, i’m fine with that. I’m mainly describing the people who spend large amounts of money on items but have their priorities mixed up.

It baffles me when I see society spend large amounts of money and time on items that depreciate in value but when someone spends money and time on their health they are “crazy.”

When spending time in the gym and cooking clean food you are investing in yourself and health for the long run. We all have a limited time on this earth so why not invest in yourself to be healthy and maximize performance, mentally, in your career, sexually, and this can go on. It sounds cheesey but “health is the greatest wealth” not “having the newest iPhone/ Yeezy shoes/top brand name clothes, is the greatest wealth.”

The message i’m trying to send is if you want to get fit and healthy you need to set your priorities straight, stop spending time on money on items that are going to get in the way of improving your health. If you can’t buy the next iPhone, Jordans, or that expensive nice purse so be it, they won’t benefit it you compared to the importance of your health. Spend money on a gym membership, spend an 30 minutes to a hour in the gym, spend time preparing lunch the night before or an hour before work, and spend money on foods that will benefit you in your overall health.

I would love to hear from you in the comment section below and pass this on to friend or family member that would benefit from it. I appreciate you taking the time to read this!
