Nothing is impossible, we just need to start.

My Goal

From last few weeks I had a goal to complete 6 km running in 20–30 mins. Why i had this goal because I do running for last 2–3 month in daily basis. So I decided to gradually increase the distance but i didn’t run more than 4 km. I faced a number of problems like tiredness, over breath rate, increase in heartbeat and excessive sweating.

How I completed it

On Thursday, that day was my last midterm exam. I decided to complete that goal. At 6 p.m I wear joggers and went to the ground and start running.

After 1 km of running observe gradually increase in my breath and heartbeat rate but I kept on running. My energy level was going down with every round of the ground(one round of ground in about 400 meters. For 6 km running I had to complete 15 rounds).

After running about 4 km in 15–18 mins, I was feeling no more energy in legs, my throat was also dry, heartbeat reached at sky. But I had to complete the remaining 2 km.

Last 2 Km, the most difficult phase

At that point, I thought to give up but I had to complete that goal. I felt that my legs become heavier and i need more energy to lift then up.

At that point I decided to keep looking just at the front of my feet instead of looking at the finish line.

I kept thinking about the process instead of completion of task.

Those last 10 mins on running is the longest and toughest phase in last 2–3 months

I Continuously reminded myself that “I can do it , I can do it and I have to do it today”.

What I learned from this experience

I learned that a person can achieve anything in his life. He just needs to be passionate and be focused towards his goals and never lose hope any point of life.
