Are you obese? Are you skinny? Do you regret about it? You don’t!! Then why do you WOW upon seeing a glass figured celebrity ? Can’t answer this? That means, you surely regret. Its just that you hide yourself behind the ‘LAZY’ curtains, behind innumerable ‘EXCUSES’. Excuse that you don’t have time; who cares about the body, there are a lot other things to care about or look after. Laziness of not moving yourself and staying trapped in your sleeping nets in the morning! Majority of the people on this planet have the characteristics mentioned above .Let me name them Type C .Out of the left over minority, 6 in every 10 push themselves to get into the physically fit skeleton but fail. Let us name the category of people mentioned above Type B. This type fails because people of this type consider becoming fit -a matter of a fortnight. Guys and girls, every achievement takes time. ‘A Toyota is built in 13hrs, A Rolls Royce takes 6 months’ . Now comes the Type A and I feel proud to be the Type A guy. I don’t boast of a perfect physique but I belong to this category. The ‘A’ here echoes ADDICTION. And I am addicted towards fitness, towards the gym which is my second home. Friends I would prefer hitting the gym rather partying or watching a movie on the weekend. I would love waking up on the floors of my second home and would be happy if I die there. I am not mad. I am not obsessed. Actually Obsessed is the word the Lazy use to describe the Dedicated.
Friends believe me. You get an unmatchable level of satisfaction. I am an engineer in India’s one of the giant engg. firms, Larsen & Toubro Constructions. Undoubtedly, there is a good workload. I sit in front of the desktop just like many of you for around 10hrs. But, thereafter I make sure that I hit the gym to shed the unwanted calories accrued throughout the day. Friends the simple motive here is- If you cant see yourself in the mirror, how can you expect others to look at you with a WOW. And it is not just the aesthetic beauty that you achieve out of it but also you intoxicate your body with the physical exercises you perform. You are mentally healthier, which surely helps you put in a productive effort at your workplace or studies or any other field you want to apply your brain in. You are healthy overall.
Patience and consistency is the key to every successful outcome and the same is applicable here. It’s like doing AGAIN n AGAIN n AGAIN and eventually the A of AGAIN vanishes and you can see GAIN n GAIN n GAIN. You make an effort repeatedly, and those efforts transform into GAINs at last. Friends nothing comes out positive without working for something consistently. Nothing can be expected if you are impatient. I would suggest you guys and girls to pledge to hit the gym for a week. You will automatically want to continue for the next week, then the week after that and ultimately every week after that. That’s where consistency and desire to continue will creep into your lives. It’s the psychology basically which affects us. Once you see a change, your hunger to go beyond your limits gets a steep drive. In a way you stretch your limits. The limits which bind you. Its like a kid who scores brilliantly once, gets encouraged and starts standing first in his class and eventually makes it a habit. Guys its time. Its time to move your ass of the bed or the chair and do something you will certainly be proud of.
