Do you think it has something to do with the feeling of contentment that also kicks in when you…

I believe it definitely has to do something with the cotentment. If the journey takes longer than usual, some start narrating a story to themselves, “I’ve atleast reached here starting from nowhere.”

Surprisingly, we don’t narrate a similar story when we’re on actual journey, for instance a train journey between City A and City B if the train gets delayed, we don’t tell ourselves, “Let me get down in between only. Atleast I’ve reached here.” We wait patiently toreach our destination.

So, it basically could be an excuse for laziness when the journey requires us to put in even more efforts.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
