Something I have observed that I would like to share is that typically, in these growth markets such as Pakistan, the Doctor understands treatment and running of a hospital(and the latter part of it not exceptionally well), the NGO crowd understand the public health issues but are limited in their business sense and the investor crowd shy away from Healthcare because they see it as too technical compared to simpler opportunities in Real Estate/Construction . This resulting chasm between money-skill-knowledge could be addressed through forums which bring leaders from all three spheres together. I believe this shall create an enabling environment towards the vision of making quality healthcare accessible and affordable in these growth markets.
