Rip it, restore it.
Leave the scars, hide the cries
Muffle the screams, stab the pain,
Explode your conscience…never again.

Scratch through the violence
Shrieking inside, gobbling your sanity
Crawl out to the surface
With an unpretentious audacity.

Drown the voices, in your head,
Around you, do you hear the quiet?
Or too addled up to adhere..
To the social protocol everywhere.

Twisting and writhing it lies
On the floor of their endless mockery
Blow it to smithereens, if that suits your fancies,
But push it not into the rivers of bloodied memories..
