WE ARE SUFFERING! WE ARE SUFFERING! WE ARE SUFFERING - PART I

THIS WRITE UP IS TO THOSE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GLOBE; IT IS TO OWNERS OF BRANDS; IT IS TO THE CORRUPT SYSTEM WHO HAS DESIGNED US IN CHEAP BRANDS AND TELL THE WORLD HOW PROSPEROUS WE ARE; IT IS TO THOSE WHO LAMBASTE THE CHINESE FOR MAKING CHEAP-LOW-QUALITY PRODUCTS; IT IS TO THE SECURITY AGENCIES WHO FIGHTS COPYRIGHT INFRINGMENT- WE ARE SUFFERING!

THESE PRODUCTS ARE BOUGHT FROM REGISTERED INDIVIDUALS WHO PAY TAXES!

THESE PRODUCTS PASS THROUGH OUR PORTS AND BORDERS! WE ARE NOT AGAINST THEM BEING CHEAP BUT THE WRONG PERCEPTIONS THAT FOLLOW THEM FROM THE WESTERN WORLD THAT WE ARE PROSPEROUS! THE WRONG PERCEPTIONS FROM SOME OF OUR LEADERS THAT WE ARE LIVING SOME OF THE BEST OF LIVES! ABOVE ALL, THE WRONG PUNISHMENTS WE GET FROM THE SECURITY AGENCIES IS WHAT WE ARE AGAINST!

COPY RIGHT ON IMAGE!
Firstly, let us address the issue of copy right on images like Dior, Nike, Jordan, Gucci, Fendi, Fashion Nova, Puma, etc, who all own copy rights to their images.

In the developed world, these images are highly protected but it isn't so down here; it is difficult to see a store in the U.S that sells Fake Jordans, Fake Dior, Fake Nikes, Fake Gucci, etc but it isn't so for us living in under developed and developing countries like Liberia and GHANA respectively.

I know in the developed world, copying the image of Jordan on your fake product without consulting the company warrant some fines but it isn't so for us here.

HOW DO WE GET CHEAP PHONES AND CLOTHING.
Many years ago while listing to a Chinese entrepreneur, he talked about why they make cheap products for top brands; according to him, most Individuals in African and some part of Asian countries can't afford to buy a first copy original Jordan shoes, to make these products accessable to almost everybody, they make affordable products so almost everyone can wear them.

In Ghana and Liberia - for which I have lived- we do miraculously buy a Jordan shoe for as low as $15. Miraculously, we are also able to get a Fendi, Dior, etc for as low as $10.

I most admit to you all, these products are sometimes even less expensive then the African Prints you see on most of our leaders; so, if you all see the masses wearing these products and our leaders wearing African Prints, it doesn't indicate that the masses are enjoying while the leaders are selfless.

This is not to expose anything happening here but it should serve as an eye opener to world leaders that, it is a misconception that, we the masses are enjoying some of the best of lives.

On this note, I can boldly beat my chest and say, about 90% of our population can't afford a brand new Iphone legally from APPLE STORE or its associates; I don't even think we have an approved Apple shop in Liberia, for Ghana, maybe there might be one or two. Most of our iPhones are refurbished phones from Dubai especially, China, and other European countries.

WE ARE SUFFERING! WE ARE SUFFERING! WE ARE SUFFERING!
We bath our faces with palm oils and hold our refurbished iphones worth about $100- $300, wear our fake Diors and Jordans, with our empty stomachs, pose Infront of a nice building, take a selfie, post on social medias for the world to SEE- WE ARE SUFFERING!

THEIR AFRICAN PRINTS ARE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OUR FAKE DIORS; IF WE COULD AFFORD THOSE PRINTS, WE WOULD DROP THESE DIORS; IF WE COULD AFFORD A BRAND NEW IPHONE, WE WOULD DROP THESE REFURBISHED IPHONES; IF WE COULD EAT A THREE- SQUARE MEAL, WE WOULD DROP THESE HIGHLY CARBOHYDRATE DIETS THAT ARE MAKING US OBESS AND CAUSING US TO HAVE DIABETES!

WE ARE SUFFERING! WE ARE SUFFERING! WE ARE SUFFERING!
